Your contribution enables us to advance policy across the government, the Knesset, local authorities and the IDF - to improve the lives of reservist families.

?How did it all begin

“Behind every reservist stands a family.”
According to IDF data, approximately 100,000 reservists have families. On October 7, tens of thousands of women were suddenly left to manage their homes and families alone.

The Forum was founded by these very women - partners of reservists who chose to take action and refuse to remain invisible. They came together to ensure that the price women pay does not remain invisible: the economic, professional and emotional toll of prolonged reserve duty, when they must run their homes, raise their children and earn a living as if their partners were still there every day.

The Forum was founded in November 2023 and today includes more than 20,000 women from families in which a partner was called up for reserve duty. The Forum represents approximately 100,000 reservist families - nearly 1% of Israel’s population - and works to ensure recognition for the women who hold their families together on the home front, making sure their challenges, sacrifices and rights are no longer overlooked.
